Versatility: Our eternal battle.
We REFUSE the exclusive use of clothing, unless we are talking about very, very, very special occasions.
The wardrobe has to be versatile, the clothes have to be wearable and the expense involved has to be amortized. Currently, textile fashion is very varied, it is accessible and that makes it easy to change. It is easy to normalize over-consumption, since at first glance they never seem like significant expenses and it always gives the impression that the garment will be used, so what is the problem?
Am I buying it for fashion? Do I really like it? Is it a garment that suits my life and my tastes?
We will always defend fashion as a tool of creativity and expression, and for that reason, we accept the reality of its constant consumption. But can we generate more conscious decisions when it comes to purchasing? Is there a criterion that allows me to buy what I like, be on trend and be flexible in its use?
This is where our eternal battle comes in: versatility. We want to integrate this quality into our designs, and that is why we always try to create pieces that, depending on how they are combined or what accessories are used, can be worn on multiple occasions.
Will we be able to find more efficiency in our wardrobe?
All the best,
Balqai.
